205 in decent condition would be huge to me.

I simply cannot consume many calories. 1,800 a day would be average for me. This is a major problem. I would say the biggest problem. Otherwise, I think that I'm doing pretty well. My training is very hard and I am pretty strong for my size.

The biggest problem is diet so let's dissect it and fix it , what are you eating and when ? Diet is an easy fix .

also : > saying "My training is very hard" is an empty statement , clarify that too please .

If you truly want help in gains then let's "discuss"

I don't know what your idea of massive amounts of gear is here , so here's what a "friend" says is worth a try for 8-10 weeks



30 mg dbol e.d. take it up to 50 mg e.d. gradually

750 mg omnadren

400 mg deca

and of course get the diet dialed in

I eat at most 1,800 calories per day. The best advice I got on that was something I read by Jay Cutler where he said if you are unable to consume food based calories, drink them! I really should get on that, although weight gain blends tend to have a lot of filler on them.

I have a small appetite, but you are right - those supplements help since drinking calories is a lot easier than consuming them. The appetite is really the major thing in my life that is off. Everything else is more or less in place.

Fortunately, weight/muscle gain is not all about what gear you should use; it is about many more things all working in harmony with your personal goals. It is fairly common knowledge how different gear reacts with one’s system to help accomplish specific results. In your case you want to gain weight. As you mentioned D-bol is a commonly used steroid that frequently results in improvements in muscle mass. It also causes folks to hold water, making them appear puffy and smooth. I guess that’s fine if all you want to accomplish is being big and you don’t so much care about being cut. Check out the possible side effects from using D-bol. One other thing to consider is that once you cycle off that stuff, you’ll lose at least some of what you’ve gained. However, I’m not against this steroid. After all, I’ve taken a few cycles of it over the last forty-five years with some success.

Here’s the thing, Matt. To achieve your goal of adding, I presume, quality muscle weight, you must lead an all around healthy lifestyle. This includes, what you eat, how much you sleep, how effective is your workout routine and having a good mental attitude so you can maintain focus on your bodybuilding goals without unnecessary distractions. Even if you want to be a wrestler or a strong man, you’ll do better if your weight is healthy weight. The idea of just being monster big without giving thought to other considerations has passed.

At twenty-seven, 5’9” tall and with a weight of 185 lbs or so, you’re not in bad shape if your proportions are right. Check the stats on younger bodybuilders. Some are rather lean, comparatively speaking. Even those who juice have to work within their genetics. Not everyone is going to be monster big. You’ll notice when looking at various bodybuilders’ photos, the relationship between one muscle group and another has much to do with their overall proportions and symmetry. This is why sometime larger guys don’t look as muscled as smaller, perhaps more defined guys do.

So here’s my advice to you, Matt. Each often (six times a day) and eat a good nutritious, well balanced diet. Quantity isn’t as important as quality, so don’t worry if you aren’t a big eater. As for your appetite; If you are getting plenty of exercise, including weight training and cardio, your not stressed and you get the proper rest you’ll have an appetite. Also, make your meals small ones. Include quality protein shakes at the correct times around your workout schedule.

If your goal is to build mass, follow a mass building routine (usually fewer reps and greater weight) and do not over train. Overtraining is one of the most common mistakes folks make. Listen to what your body tells you. Design your routine to fit your optimum recovery time. Make a schedule and stick to it as best you can. Maintain a positive outlook and compliment yourself on your successes, no matter how small they are. Be patient, even when one is on steroids, they don’t become Ronnie Coleman overnight. This is not a three month cycle endeavor. It is a lifelong commitment. Accept whatever flaws you may have and work with them. Don’t let skinny legs or a narrow chest rule your self assessment. We are all built differently. Prioritize your goals. If gaining mass is your main goal right now, don’t let your ambition for success in business get in the way of this goal. No one can do everything all of the time and be successful at all of it.

Well, it should be obvious that I could write a book about this; I nearly have done that here. After nearly fifty years of working out, I’ve learned a few things. However, I don’t always follow all the guidelines I know I should because I’m human and I make mistakes or become lazy. When that happens, I forgive myself and get back to the gym.
