In reality, I can only hope that young girls would seek to generally avoid men in such a circumstance and black men in particular - this is not racist but merely respectable for statistical trends. Young girls should obviously be more afraid of men than women? Young men than old women? Right? If so, why is it "racist" to extend this knowledge obtained through statistical methodology a step further and apply it to race?
If being more afraid of black men than other men is "racist" then merely being more afraid of men than women is "sexist". The logic behind either decision is the same.
